(More customer reviews)We bought this bike for my wife and it is a great deal at $211. You cannot find any bike with similar spec's for less then $300. Amazon delivered it within 3 days with excellent packaging - it looked pristine out of the box. How they sell this for $211 I do not understand, but love that they do!
Only problem I had had nothing to do with the quality of the bike. The accompanying instructions were extremely generic - they included 4 or 5 other models that had nothing to do with the model I purchased. The instructions are all intermingled so you have to constantly filter out what is specific to your bike. I just do not get why a company would not do a better job detailing specific model information. As it was, it took about 30 minutes to assemble, but the front brake was a problem and took an additional hour or so to adjust correctly, after a few minutes or so looking through the "instructions" to find the correct brake type. The tools that the "instructions" said were enclosed were not, so you will need a few metric wrenches to assemble, as well as some Allen keys and maybe an adjustable wrench. I realize that Diamondback packages these bikes to be sold and assembled through their dealer network, but think those being sold through Amazon should have a better manual than the one included, as well as the tools that are supposedly "included".
My wife is 5' tall and the 13" model was perfect for her with the seat almost all the way down. Like I said, its a fantastic bike for the money. The picture does not do the color justice - it is very nice and has a silvery pink luster to it. Gears work great and are very easy to change. Its also very light in weight for those of you like us who will load it onto a bike rack.
