(More customer reviews)I like the suit material-wise - it's lined and it feels sturdy, not cheap. The color is true to the photo too, and is a nice crimson. I'm petite and small on top, heavier on the bottom. The suit feels a bit tight (though not horribly uncomfortable)around the armpit area. I also have a relatively short torso, and so there is *slight* bunching in the material around the waist area. I'm a 34 bra size and bought this in size 34. Though not an absolutely perfect it was the right size and does the job.

Diamondback Cobra 24 Jr Boys Mountain Bike (24-Inch Wheels) Review

(More customer reviews)The Diamondback Cobra 24 arrived damaged due to how poorly it is packaged from the factory. It comes with the front wheel and the handlebars removed, and zip-tied directly to the bike frame. The only thing protecting the parts from damage is some thin card-stock-like paper that's taped to the bike frame tubes. At some point during this bike's journey from the manufacturer in China, some of the zip-ties became brittle and failed. The handlebars and front tire then spent the rest of their time banging and rubbing against the bike frame. This resulted in a broken left side grip shifter, paint chipped off and scratched on the bike frame, and paint rubbed off or scratched on the left hand brake, and front forks. The shipping box had no external damage, so this is not an issue with shipping, it's an issue with how poorly the bike is packed. Definately ruins the experience when you take it out of the box for the first time on Christmas eve, cut off all the protective paper wrappers and discover damage. On top of all that, the left grip shifter cable had been installed wrong, and the handle bars could not be installed correctly, without removing the cable from the front shift derailer, and unthreading it from the bike frame.
Once assembled, it's a nice looking bike and that paint job is metallic orange, not red (they call it "fire orange" I think. Be warned: the tubing is steel, not aluminum and so this bike is extremely heavy. The decals on the frame tube and forks are immaturish and stupid. They have nothing to do with the bike, or kids. They're like someone's acid trip from the 60's, trying to make an album cover. So much so, that I immediately peeled several of them off. Why it can't just say "Diamondback Cobra 24" is beyond me.
The Shimano components are bottom of the line, and shifting is very poor. Even after trying to fine tune the adjustments at the grip shifters and the derailers, the shifting is very "cheap" and inaccurate. Not what you want in a child's bike, where you're trying to get your child comfortable with 21 speeds and 2 grip shifters. Shifts easier if you are rotating the grip shifters toward you than away from you, chain clicks in certain gears due to poor alignment of the derailers, and the chain doesn't move to the next chain ring or cog with a nice positive thud. It's like shifting an old bike in the 1970's.....you moved the shifter and hope the chain goes with you.
Make no mistake, this is a cheap "department store" grade bike. The local bike stores warned me about buying a bike of this caliber. I didn't listen to the advice for 2 reasons. 1) Diamondback used to have a reputation for nice bikes. 2) I didn't feel like my child needed a $300 bike for the kind of occasional "kids riding" that it would get used for. We had a Raleigh Rowdy prior to this and that was a fantastic bike with an aluminum frame and great shifting Shimano components. This Diamondback Cobra 24 is a big disapointment and I'm regretting the purchase.

Diamondback Drifter Men's Beach Cruiser Bike (2011 Model, 26-Inch Wheels) Review

(More customer reviews)I live on the North Side of Chicago, about a mile away from Wrigley Field and about a mile and a half from Lake Michigan. I was looking for a bike to get around, and I decided I was going to get a cruiser style.
I saw alot of cruisers online, but quality cruiser bikes were rather expensive. So, when I found a DiamondBack for under $300, I thought, "there must be something "cheap" about it.
While it does have a one - piece crank, foot brake and no gears, this is the best bike your money can buy for under $300.
First of all, I was born in '78. This bike has logos that read '78 on the chainguard and the wheel guards (not pictured, but it ships with them and they look slick). Matte Black is my favorite color also, so I was immediattely drawn to this bike. Amazon free shipping is available and with that, I was sold.
When the bike arrived, it was pretty much assembled. The only parts I had to put on were the handlebars, the front tire, the seat and the pedals (which was the only hassle, YOU MUST PUT THE PEDALS ON CORRECTLY OR YOU WILL RUIN THE CRANK).
After about a half hour of assembly, I took this bike outside and rode around the city, up by Wrigley Field and then through Lakeview. It rides like a dream and it's like sitting on a cloud. The seat is GREAT. Every bump on our poorly maintained city streets is answered with the suspension of this bikes seat.
The bike looks pretty good too. The whitewalls really stand out (I dread having to clean them every week though). The Matte Black paintjob is very classy.
If you're going to buy this, I recommend buying the Greenfield KS2SB Kickstand With Retro Kit Black
it matches perfectly and since the bike does not have a kickstand, this thing seems like it was made for this bike. It's easy to attach and it works great.
Every day I after I get off work from the Fire Station, I can't wait to hop on this thing and explore the parts of the city I have not seen, and going down to the Lakefront is on top of my list for tommorrow. This bike turns heads also, so invest in a good lock too.
This bike was made for me, in fact, I've got it inside my apt. and I can't stop looking away from the computer screen while typing this to look over at it. If it sounds like something you might like, you will......... Buy it.

It is an adjustable hat and it is made of 70% acrylic and 30% wool. The dead give away that this is not a fitted cap is that the brim or visor isn't flat, most times that it's flat, it's a fitted cap, when it's curved, it's usually a adjustable hat. That's just a small pointer to look at so you don't end up getting something different like the other guy who bought this hat. Besides that, it is a pretty comfortable hat to wear and is fairly durable.

They seem to be sturdy and fairly good quality.
I occasionally take a ride as well (5'10" 170 lbs) with no problem.
Size seems like it should feet a very small 6-7 years old all the way through 10-12.
Fairly light, good brakes and transmission (both Shimano).
Easy to assemble with included tools.

Diamondback Girls Mini Impression Bike Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter is 3.5 years old, average height and the 16" is a bit too high for her. Still, the 12" wheels would be too short so choosing this size was a good decision (she manages with the included training wheels).
The bike looks and rides great. It is sturdy, very high quality paint finish and parts. These are not $[...] bike you buy for a few months. These would hold for your second and third child as well, and that's why they're on the expensive side (although there are more expensive, of course).
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is missing assembly instructions in the shipped box and I could not find them on Diamond Back website either. I'm not super technical and was able to assemble the bike, but just to make sure I got it right I called their customer support to check if they have instructions somewhere. They were very nice and sent me the instructions by email. They explained they just started with online sales recently and that's why the package is missing instructions (they might upload it here at some point - [...]).
Overall, great bike, but making the assembly instructions available in the box or online is essential.

(More customer reviews)You can read what I first wrote below, but I've come back on to revise this, because this bike (while difficult to get help from company for instructions) ended up being a fantastic quality, so I feel I should let people know it was worth the pain! I got four very expensive bikes for my kids last Christmas, but this one (for my then 2 year old and now she's 3) is just so smooth and nice to ride. She is the youngest of the bikers, and one would think she'd be the wobbliest, but she looks so comfortable when riding compared to some of my older kids whose bikes seem to tilt onto their training wheels in a funny way, or whose wheels are too narrow to make the ride smooth, etc. I wish I would have bought this version only bigger for all of them. It is a beautiful bike.
(Original post- now obsolete:: I felt I had to warn people that this little bike comes with absolutely no instructions for how to put it together, and it is in MANY pieces. Without instructions I don't even know if I've received all the pieces to put together, how could I? I may try my hand at figuring this out, but at this price, I feel I should have a bike that I know is well put together, and without instructions I may never feel safe. Therefore I'm probably going to be out the cost of taking this to a bike shop for them to put it together for me, and if I have to do that, I should have just bought a bike available there to begin with. Thank goodness I did not open this box the night before Christmas- what a nightmare!)

Diamondback Lil Push Bike Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my son who turns 3 in May. The price on Amazon is 30-50 dollars lower than anywhere else I could find. I was apprehensive about buying this without seeing it in person and worrying that it would be too big. It has 12" tires which in the bicycle world apparently means 12" outer diameter, the rims are 8.5" outer diameter. Not like on a car where they measure the rim diameter for the tire size.
So the bike is tiny but the seat height at it's lowest setting is 15". My son has a 12" inseam now and I will have to modify the seat post for him to fit now. I looked down the tubing where the seat post fits and the bottom tube intersects it so the seat post will only go in as far as the top of the bottom tube running across it. The seat post is 7/8" so I will have to look at a home goods store for a piece of tubing to swap in there. I am including some pictures so that others may be able to figure out if this will fit their child. I actually called Diamond Back and they couldn't tell me what the seat height was. Kind of funny really. He said it was a new model and he didn't have the specs. They made this in 2010 too...
I will update this after my son's birthday with a report on the fun factor. It will get 5 stars then if it puts a smile on his face. 4 stars now are due to Diamond Back's crummy customer service.

(More customer reviews)I went from bike shop to bike shop trying to find this style of kick-stand in glossy black to go on my new bike (silver would have looked stupid and that's all I could find at half a dozen bike shops). I got this one and it is great.
I have a pretty large bike since I'm pretty tall and I assumed the shorter version would be just about the right size, or perhaps only slightly too small. I went ahead and got it because it had Prime shipping as an option and was a bit cheaper... It was too long! I used a hacksaw and trimmed it about 3/4" and now it's perfect. It includes a rubber foot for the tip of the stand, so you can't tell it's been shortened.

It is light and suspension is good, but stainless steel parts (brakes, spokes) on the bike started to rust after only one month. I've never seen anything like that even with cheap bike I had before. Today I had a spoke broken, and I can see that it's just rusted all the way through. Weight or hard riding was not a problem, I'm only 100 pounds and was riding on the roads. Will take it back to Sports Chalet and see what they will tell me.

I contacted warranty support about 8 times so far and still have no idea of when it will be fixed. Stated that it is a clear product defect however I get a different answer every time I talk to someone on when it will be fixed. Now I hear that they are getting the parts from the manufacture in China. Seem to indicate that parts are backlogged several months. Worse experience i have had with a company and a warranty. Suppose to have been a lifetime warranty. I will never buy a product from this company again and would highly recommend that you buy another indoor cycle.
