(More customer reviews)Initially, I was quite impressed with this freewheel for under $10. The color was cool, the coasting (clicking) sound it made was very cool, and obviously it was cheap; perfect on a flip flop hub on a fixed gear bike.
However, after about a month it started to get quite rusted all over it.
I recommend spending a little more (like on a Shimano) to prevent rusting, especially if you're making a single speed.

Diamondback BMX Freewheel 1/8" 16T Review

(More customer reviews)I used the Diamondback BMX Freewheel to convert an older KHS road bike to a single speed and it worked great. Not a high-end racing freewheel, just something to beat-up around town. Works great for the application and the price was right!
