Dicta 16t 3/32" BMX freewheel Review

Dicta 16t 3/32 BMX freewheel
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Initially, I was quite impressed with this freewheel for under $10. The color was cool, the coasting (clicking) sound it made was very cool, and obviously it was cheap; perfect on a flip flop hub on a fixed gear bike.
However, after about a month it started to get quite rusted all over it.
I recommend spending a little more (like on a Shimano) to prevent rusting, especially if you're making a single speed.

Sunlite Crank Arm 170mm Left Horizontal Square Black Review

Sunlite Crank Arm 170mm Left Horizontal Square Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
If you are looking for a SR Suntour left crank arm with a square spindle hole which is 45 degrees offset from the spindle holes on most crank arms, this is the product you need, insofar as the 170mm crank arm length is the length you need. At the other end of the crank arm, the female hole for your pedal to screw into is a standard 9/16" threaded. Note that there are Suntour crank arms which in which the square crank spindle hole is configured as shown in the stock photo for this item listing; however, this crank arm, as mentioned, is 45 degrees offset from that shown in the stock photo.

Redline Chainguard for BMX Bikes Transparent Grey Review

Redline Chainguard for BMX Bikes Transparent Grey
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had no trouble installing it, but I can see how it might not fit every bike. I put it on a 20" BMX. It doesn't feel as secure as one that comes with a bike, but it has stayed on for a few rides so far. Extra brackets to fit a variety of frames.
Good price and hard to find product.

The Bulletproof BMX Bicycle Handlebar End Plugs, Silver Alloy was used on the end of a pair of bar ends on a mountain bike. they worked perfect for me. was not sure of the diameter of the open needed and these being adjustable or expandable was a plus. I would recommend to a friend and have recommended it to one of the riders in my group.Shipping was fast and convenient.

DK Siklon 2010 Complete BMX Bike - 20 Inch - Black / White
Average Reviews:

I purchased this bike for our 13 year old son for Christmas. He loves to ride his bike and loves how light this bike is. I couldn't find a bike like this one in any stores around our area. The company didn't charge me any shipping which made the price reasonable. It is a good bike, came in excellent condition and my son loves it.

Mongoose Men's XR250 Bicycle (Grey) Review

Mongoose Men's XR250 Bicycle (Grey)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Ill start off by saying if your just looking for a commute bike you might as well make it a comfortable ride, right? Well this has it, I was looking for something to get back and forth to work with. This in mind i live where there is a lot of curbs and bad roads etc. so I wanted something that had some suspension. 217 bucks plus i bought the Kryptonite 2 lock (35$) i say you cant beat it. It came the day it said it would, box in perfect condition and only need to adjust cables and attach front wheel, just a smidge of an adjustment to the derauiler and everything was just they way it was intended to be. oh and make sure you clean front disc brake BEFORE the first ride to insure it brakes-in the correct way. hope i help any furture buyers out there.

Avenir Wicker Bicycle Basket with Black Velcro (Small) Review

Avenir Wicker Bicycle Basket with Black Velcro (Small)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Although this is a nice looking, sturdy basket, the velcro is not long enough for any bicycles with adjustable speed and brake cables running around the front and to the back of the bike. This basket is strictly for single-speed bicycles that have regular sized handlebars to accomodate the short velcro straps.

Sunlite Bicycle Welded Spring Rear Rack, (Black) Review

Sunlite Bicycle Welded Spring Rear Rack, (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a great rear rack.
Once it is on the bike it is on there very good...no rattling around, etc.
Very easy to strap almost anything on to it. I purchased one of their bags at the same time so it is a very nice fit.
I agree with the other reviewers that the instructions (if you can call them that) that come with the product are just worthless.
The only reason I did not give it Five Stars is because of this. And their website also does not have anything else to fall back on.
Rather than frustrate yourself with the supplied directions make sure you have your bike right in front of you along with the online picture of the rack itself itself...it is really easier to figure it out on your own.
So let me try to explain best I can...
FIRST --Attaching this to your bike is dependent upon the frame having pre-threaded holes on it for the bolts that come with the rack. This must be some kind of industry standard. But I did not understand this part going into it which is why I was frustrated
So look at your frame and make sure you have the pre-tapped holes both at the top part of the rear frame where it starts coming down to the rear tire and down where the rear tire itself fits in. My bike had "place holder" bolts already in these holes to stop debris from getting inside so I removed them and used the longer screws that came with the rack.
See the silver/chrome parts of the rack in the picture...
First you will have to attach the angled parts to the top of the rack with the little U-shaped bracket pieces. But don't tighten it down yet. They should remain loose and flexible at this point.
Magnify the online photo to see this more clearly.
The bottom silver parts adjust up/down depending on the type of tire you have...
Notice at the end of each of these four silver pieces are holes where the bolt will go through.
These holes line up with the pre-theaded holes on your bike frame.
So slip the bolt and washer through and tighten them down to the bike frame first but still just a tiny bit loose.
Then push the rack around a bit to make sure it is level and straight. This is the reason why we did not fully tighten the top silver parts to the rack itself earlier so that we would have this flexibility.
Once you are satisfied everything is level...crank ALL down bolts very tight.
At this point go ahead and grab the rack and pick up your whole bike that way....you will see how solidly it is on there.
Enjoy!

Schwinn High Timber Men's Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels) Review

Schwinn High Timber Men's Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this bike for my 11 year old son who is currently 5'6" and growing. I chose the free shipping and originally Amazon estimated it to be delivered two weeks after I put in the order. It actually came one week later and I was able to track it through UPS after Amazon sent me the tracking number. I feel that I got a great deal since there was no tax and no shipping charges -- I also saw the price go up $15 in less than a week.
It came almost fully assembled -- thank goodness! My brother said he would help but I found that it was best to go to a local bike shop to put on the wheel and handlebars. At the same time, they made sure it was adjusted properly and in safe working order. Although I got it done for free (it was through a friend), I would have paid $20-25 to have make sure that it is done properly.
I live in New York City -- this past weekend was beautiful weather here and I asked my kids if they wanted to go bike riding in Central Park. My son, which I found out later, was scared to get on his new bike because he thought it was too big for him. I took it instead (I'm 5'5") and it was a pleasure to ride. I may add that I haven't been on a bike in many years. I wasn't sure if it was too big or would I understand how to use the gears, but everything went fine and it was perfect, especially with the adjustable seat. It rode very smooth and I really enjoyed it. I probably will order the same bike for myself as I don't have one currently.
I think since he sees that I was able to ride it, he is less scared of trying it. I would highly recommend this bike and it was a very good experience ordering something through Amazon -- my first time.

M-Wave Alloy Side Bicycle Kickstand Review

M-Wave Alloy Side Bicycle Kickstand
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Im an adult, this was purchased for an adult bike. Lasted 1 week! The bike fell over and the kickstand broke in half. (the part that holds it on the bike, not the stand itself. It looks like its made of plastic and not steel. The stand part is made of hollow, thin metal, similar to a hollow tent pole, when I was removing the broken stand bracket, I also noticed the stand itself was bent, after 1 WEEK??? come on. I dont like to post negative reviews, but this was a total joke and the quality of this stand just made me really mad. Dont buy this, its cheap for a reason.

Diamondback BMX Softee Brake Pads Regular Review

Diamondback BMX Softee Brake Pads Regular
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I needed to replace some worn out pads on a childs bicycle. These fixed the inadequate stopping power that they had. The peace of mind for safety is well worth it at this price. I used these on non-vbrake setup. The rubber compound is soft but not too soft. By looking at my v-brakes, I would think they would work excellent on v-brakes. I will purchase these when my brake pads start to go.

I bought this for me - a 42 year old father of two boys. I'm 150 pounds, 5' 7" and feel like a kid again. I remember riding BMX bikes when I was 12 and can still perform some of the stunts I used to do. Anyway, the bike is very light and rides like no other BMX bike I've had. Granted, I haven't had the best, but this bike is certainly fun to ride.
